Awards received by Ardleigh Green Infant School as together with Ardleigh Green Junior School, we continue on the exciting Ardleigh Green Learning Federation Journey.
In the words of one of our songs:
"School is an adventure, like a roller coaster soaring through the stars.
School is an adventure, feel it bring us closer, helping us be who we are.
The world will be our oyster when we step outside and see,
We're on our learning journey, adventure made for me."
Ardleigh Green Infant School was judged as outstanding in 2012. The school regularly hosts local and national visitors and has supported a number of local schools through the L.A. Schools supporting Schools initiative. The school continues to have strong links with Iceland and makes a significant contribution to their programme of Continual Professional Development.

Sport is at the heart of the school curriculum. Sporting clubs extend and enhance the curriculum and we are an active participant of the Havering Sports Collective. The school has its own outdoor pool which allows children from Reception to Year 6 to have swimming lessons. All children leaving Ardleigh Green Learning Federation can swim!
Ardleigh Green Infant and Junior School were both inspected in 2020 as part of the National Inclusion Award Framework. Inspectors observed lessons, spoke to staff, children and parents and observed the work of the Family Centre. Both schools were highly praised for their emphasis on inclusion and were asked to become IQM Exemplar schools.
Music is considered at be a core subject at Ardleigh Green Learning Federation. All children have a weekly music lesson delivered by a subject specialist. In addition the Learning Federation's Musician in Residence leads weekly singing sessions for all children using original compositions which seek to live out the
vision and values of Ardleigh Green.
