Our Vision

Our vision for our School Ambassadors is to help every child engage and lead change in their world and be involved in democracy.

Our Aim

We aim to:

• Allow every child to become a productive citizen.
• Allow every child to be involved in democracy, particularly involving British Values.
• Listen to each other and try help solve problems.
• Improve children’s independence and communication skills.
• Improve our learning about the world around us.
• Improve our school environment and local community.
• Support charities.
• Hold fund raising events.

Our Implementation

The School Ambassadors will be overseen by Mrs Foulser.

At Ardleigh Green, each class in the Infant School elects two pupils to serve as School Ambassadors for the academic year. These pupils are chosen by their classmates to represent their views and contribute to school life in meaningful ways.

Role of a School Ambassador

• Attend fortnightly meetings with lead staff and fellow ambassadors to discuss school matters.
• Represent their class, sharing ideas and feedback on behalf of their peers.
• Support a variety of school and community activities, including:
  • The Family Centre and Baby Club
  • Litter picking initiatives
  • New intake events and other school occasions
• At the end of each term, ambassadors meet with Mrs. Hoffman to provide feedback on their impact. They reflect on what has gone well and suggest ideas for how we can continue to improve life at Ardleigh Green Infants.
